Hi and welcome , my name is Claire and I am a professional, qualified Freelance Makeup Artist.
Pretty Make-up is based in York and specialises in bridal make-up but also offers a make-up service for other
special events.

I have had the privilege of being involved in many weddings over the past few years and love the excitement
leading up to the day and the wedding day itself. I have a strong bridal background working as a wedding
planner ( I also own www.yorkbride.co.uk), and find this hands on experience really helps when meeting brides.

You will often find me discussing wedding ideas and plans during trials or lacing up dresses on the big day!
I work in a calm and friendly manner and have had many lovely compliments as to how my demeanour can
help keep brides and their family relaxed on their wedding day!

Whatever the occasion, my main aim is to work in a friendly, relaxed and professional manner to make you look and feel amazing! Whether you want a natural polished look, something quirky or maybe a modern look with a vintage twist I will ensure that we work together to create your perfect look.
